Mexico Sunday Recap

Many thanks to the hundreds of people that came out to celebrate our 25th anniversary of MVPC’s Mexcio trip this past Sunday! We had a fantastic worship service followed by a delicious Mexican lunch on the church patio. What a great way to end the trip!

We wanted to say a special thank you to the many individuals that provided extra funds for our scholarships this past year. We never want money to be a reason people can’t come with us to Mexico and offer scholarships to make it possible for anyone to join the trip. This year we awarded almost $10,000 in scholarships, much of which was covered by individuals who gave a little bit extra when they registered.

A big thank you goes to the MVPC Foundation that gave $2000 this year to help cover scholarships for Mexcio. Without their help, we would not be able to offer as many scholarships we we do. The MVPC Foundation is a separate non-profit foundation that serves to support the ministries of MVPC and each year distributes funds to support the ongoing work of MVPC, especially in the areas of mission trips. For more information on the Foundation or to contribute to their work, please contact David Sylvester at david@cavuwealth.com.
