We Made It

Slight snafu at the border as the Mexican government changed their rules this week and would not allow our buses to cross the border. The group disembarked & carried their luggage across (as expected), and waited with great attitudes as AMOR arranged for a different set of buses to pick them up. On trips like this, it sure helps to be flexible & ready to roll with whatever happens.

Camp went up quickly, some people even got showers already (when it’s this hot & you’ve worked hard on little sleep, a cold shower feels refreshing), & kids jumped in line for their first of many tacos.

Teams are having their first in-country meeting now while camp crew continues setting up.
